Community-Centered Advocacy
My vision for our district is rooted in strong, community-centered schools where every student has the opportunity to thrive. I believe strongly in keeping our local schools open and accessible to the families they serve. I will continue to be a voice for our community and advocate for the students, families, and educators who make our district strong.
I will also continue to champion high-quality early childhood education with more hands-on learning and less reliance on technology in the classroom. Most importantly, I will work to ensure our schools have the resources necessary to provide every child with a strong educational foundation.
I am proud to have the endorsement of the Morongo Teacher's Association. I would be honored to earn your vote and continue serving our community as your school board representative.
My Story

Over the last five years, I have had the privilege of serving on the school board, working collaboratively with fellow board members to bring our district together, strengthen our resources through the passage of Measure C, and ensure that the voices of our local community are heard.
Being the first in my family to graduate from university, I understand the transformative power of quality education. As a young single mother of four seeking a better life for my children, I attended the University of California, Riverside, obtained a degree, and became a teacher. I taught 29 years in the public school system, 19 of those in Morongo Unified, and know what is needed to ensure a quality education for our children.
